VIP ticket holders will be offered complimentary appetizers and drinks from 6- 7:30 p.m., along with a private set from featured performers. “David Yoder and the other Mangy Moose owners agreed that it is imperative to support the hardworking nurses of our community that put their lives at risk to help us every day, and even more so during the pandemic,” says Amy Gertsch, director of events at the Moose and board member of the Jackson Hole Nurses Fund. “They graciously donated the space for the event and we are honored to host it.” Proceeds from the event will provide relief to nurses that were profoundly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nurse Georgie McNiff, who has been pushing to build awareness and support local nurses, highlighted the immense burden that nurses have been under since the pandemic began, especially the costs incurred from having to pay for their own rapid tests in order to keep working. “My drive to create this event is to help reimburse the nurses in my local community who simply should not have to pay these out of pocket costs or lose work pay,” McNiff said. “I also think that it’s time we all start to gather again. We all worked really hard to come out on the side of this. What a great thing to be able to gather, party, sing and dance all while supporting the healthcare workers who helped us move through this pandemic.”
